Medusa – Don’t let the name fool you – She’s Stunning!

I’m a big advocate for spoiling those that mean the world to you, friends, family, significant others etc

So I’ll be doing a number of posts over this weekend that will include some inspiration for gifts for that special someone in your life this Valentine’s Day.

In addition, if you’d like some light reading, how about you check out my Valentine’s Post from this time last year:

In addition, here is the post from one of my loved up friends that was posted around the same time – I had a look at them yesterday and it made me giggle!

Lucky In Love’s

So naturally when it was my beau’s birthday recently I decided to get him a surprise that he wouldn’t forget – some things however are to be kept between two people – but I can reveal that it involved the Medusa. I thought it would be a great suggestion for a Valentine’s Day gift!

Medusa is a small boutique hotel located in Darlinghurst consisting of 17 hotel rooms.  It is hidden in amongst the beautiful town houses on Darlinghurst road and if you weren’t looking for it, you’d never know it was there!

Once inside you’re transported into a stylish unique boutique hotel. It’s so quiet that you would never believe that you’re only a five minute walk from Kings Cross!

Medusa’s top room category is called the Grand Room, it is the perfect room for a special occasion. Here’s a sneaky peak for you:

The management advise that whilst in the hotel it is all about enjoying your room, stepping out and enjoying the neighbourhood for its great food and beverage on offer is the other bonus.

The hotel is just round the corner from the bustling Victoria Street, which is home to row upon row of eateries. You’re literally a stone’s throw away from Italian, Spanish Tapas, Thai and so much more. A personal fave of mine – The Victoria Rooms is located a mere five minute walk away. (I’ll be sure to review this for you very soon!)
